  account director -commercial lines. our client, a leader in the financial services industry, based in limerick, has an exciting opportunity for an account director -commercial lines, to join their expanding team. the role: the purpose of the account director -commercial lines, is to manage a portfolio of existing clients and execute a constantly evolving pipeline to quote and secure new clients within a dynamic team setting. the role entails managing new and existing commercial accounts in conjunction with the regional director (mid-west region). candidates must demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment with a high energy level. skills and experience that we need:  •previous experience in a similar role. • strong communication skills are essential. excellent communication skills and a strong client relationship background.  • possess a positive, can-do attitude with the ability to adapt to and embrace change. • significant technical insurance knowledge.  • proficient in office, including outlook, word & excel.  • ability to develop relationships with insurers and clients.  • attention to detail. motivated, initiative-taker who will work on their own initiative and appreciate the regulatory nature of the business. • possess the ability to manage deadlines & prioritise workload. an aptitude for selling and flexibility in working hours to meet tight deadlines.  • demonstrate good technical & product knowledge. excellent negotiation skills and an understanding how best to negotiate between price and risk. • the ability to prioritise workloads and adapt to unforeseen events.  • a good degree of personal organisation and a structured approach to time and resource management. strong it and organisational skills. • previous experience in a similar role qualified as a minimum and studying towards the acii. • compliant with the central bank’s minimum competency code and fitness & probity. the offer: the is a full time/permanent position with base salary, depending on candidate experience & qualifications but expected to be approx. €65-€70k per annum, with strong potential for further career growth & personal development. hybrid working model of 2/ 3 days per week in the limerick office and hours of work are monday to friday 9am – 5.30pm. how to apply:  if you are interested in applying, or want to know more about this job, please contact,  orlaigh fitzgerald-quinn in cpl limerick on. 085 8017135 or email your cv to     candidates with restricted visa’s or non-eu citizens will not be considered for the role.  for a full list of our open jobs, have a look at .
