**** experienced equipment engineers **** on behalf of our multi national manufacturing company in limerick, we are sourcing a number of equipment engineers to join their team. (this is a monday to friday based role. this role will be situated in the cleanroom in the wafer fabrication facility and the successful candidate will perform the following duties:  • support daily operation of manufacturing facility with proven skills in effective problem solving, troubleshooting and root cause failure analysis. • lead cross functional teams in a systematic approach to continuous improvement, using data driven analysis and decision making. • drive continuous improvement of kpi’s of manufacturing equipment such as % availability, mean-time-to-repair (mttr) & mean-time-between-failure (mtbf)  these tools offer the potential to experience a multitude of exciting aspects including electronics, high vacuum, pneumatics, pneumatics and robotics. although not essential, prior experience in some of the following equipment would be useful. • applied material implanters & deposition platforms. • akrion wet benches. • aviza furnaces. • tel tracks. • nikon steppers. • lam etchers. • novellus deposition platforms. • semitool wet chemistry platforms. the successful candidate will have the following: • education : ordinary bachelor’s degrees (nfq level 7) or honours bachelor’s degrees (nfq level 8. • experience: 6-10 years of experience – maintenance technician or engineer, ideally coming from a highly regulated environment or an equipment maintenance role. • capable of demonstrating analytical troubleshooting methods (root cause analysis, 8d problem solving, 5-why), and first time right repair skills. • able to follow preventative maintenance and standard work procedures. • prior experience in tpm is desirable. i f you have the above skills & experience, please contact catriona.duggan@cpl.ie / tele: 087 2419644 for immediate confidential discussion.
