 we Have An Exciting Opportunity For An Experienced And Progressive Reservations Manager. To Join Our Client. A Leading 4* Hotel In The Heart Of Limerick City. The Successful Candidate Will Manage The Day To Day Running Of The Reservations Department, By Managing The Team Resources And Reservations Processes, To Maximise The Hotels’ Total Revenue And Delivering Excellent Customer Care.   Reporting Directly To The General Manager, You Will Work Closely With The Front Office Team And Cluster Revenue Manager, To Maximize All Bedroom And Hotel Sales Opportunities. You Will Be Technically Skilled In Hotel Reservations, Well Organised, Detail Focused, Have A Keen Awareness Of Business Priorities, Flexible, Have A Guest Centric And Service Excellence Approach, As Well As Being A Strong Team Manager.   _______________________________________________________________________  Main Responsibilities;    · Management Of The Reservations Department Team, Ensuring Correct Rostering Of Team Resources To Meet Business Needs.    · Challenge Employees Within The Department To Achieve Optimum Revenue And Service Per Employee. Ensure They Are Aware Of The Departments’ Targets And Goals.  · Monitors Departments Overall Service, Interaction With Other Departments And Team Work Daily. Take Actions As Necessary To Improve.   · Ensure Effective Working Relationships With Corporate And Leisure Clients And All Hotel Guests. Identify Their Needs And Ensure Their Repeat Business  · To Be Proactive In Creating A Sales Culture Through Our People  · To Develop A Close Working Relationship With All Departments, Colleagues And Managers To Ensure Guest Expectations Are Met.  · To Deal With All Customer Queries And Complaints In A Timely Manner In Line With The Hotels Standards Of Operation.     ideal Candidate: · 2-3 Years’ Experience In A Supervisory Or Management Role In A Busy 4/5* Hotel Reservations Department  · Experience In A Busy City Centre Hotel Is Preferable.   · Extensive Knowledge Of Opera (Pms), Siteminder (Channel Manager), Ota’S, Excel.  · Excellent Communications And People Management Skills  · Results And Revenue Orientated   · Thrives In A Team Environment  · Strong Track Record Of Using Their Own Initiative   · Keen Attention To Detail  · Fluent In The English Language, Both Written And Spoken  · Flexibility Is Required In Line With Business Levels.  · You Must Have Current Legal Status To Live And Work In Ireland  · Interviews On-Site In Limerick, Job Is On-Site Office Based In Limerick  For Further Details Contact Richard Lynch At 086-8333677.
