Project Manager (Medical Devices)






On behalf of our Medical Device Client in Limerick, we are currently sourcing a Project Manager to join their Team. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage the project life cycle of projects within the Global Supply Chain Operational Unit. The role will work closely with the other Divisions, Functions and Manufacturing Entities to ensure project delivery is focused on achieving objectives and is in line with agreed business requirements and timelines. The Project Manager will take responsibility for assigned projects while embracing continuous improvement ideologies.   Reporting to:  Global Supply Chain Director, Global Continuous Improvement & PMO. Responsibilities : Understand the business direction and develop comprehensive project plans that ensure the deliverables are in line with the business direction. Coordinate with other departments / stakeholders to ensure all aspects of projects are fully complete and compliant. Manage the entire lifecycle of assigned projects and meet timelines set out in the project plan. Mitigate and identify risks / issues which may impact project timelines and act when required. Monitor, track and communicate project progress in a structured and timely manner to business owners and key stakeholders. Self-motivated to collaborate with internal stakeholders (Divisions, Functions, Manufacturing Entities) from project initiation to implementation & hand over to business process owner. Manage the dependencies between associated projects and programs, where successful implementation is contingent on excellent collaboration across workstreams. Manage and work with relevant outside vendors, as required. Acquire and maintain an understanding and knowledge of the Supply Chain channels and systems. Qualifications : Preferably 3-5 years previous experience as a project manager and ideally professionally certified e.g., PMP. Experience leading an ERP implementation strongly desirable. Ideally a certified yellow or green belt practitioner. Language Skills – excellent written and verbal command of English. Excellent analytical skills. Proven problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and inter-personal skills. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Excellent organizational and negotiation skills. Excellent facilitation skills. High self-motivation.
