Cloud Back End Developer. A Strategic Government Initiative, led by the IDA, our client is a newly established centre which is intended to help Irish based manufacturers (MNCs and SMEs) to access and accelerate their adoption of digital technologies. Location: Located in the National Technology Park, Limerick, Ireland, this role is a flexible working model. Employees can work fully at the hybrid or remote approach. Role overview: With this role you will work as part of a Data Science team to support our client and also their clients. You will work across cloud-based architectures to ensure the smooth deployment of Machine Learning projects. You will possess expert knowledge of maintaining and debugging live software systems. Main responsibilities: Evaluate the performance and carry out benchmarking of cloud-based infrastructure. Provide feedback from systems to reduce Time To Detect (TTD) errors and Time To Minimise (TTM) them. Create scripts to automate the provisioning and configuration of the infrastructure for a variety of environments. You can look forward to. Minimum Role Requirements: Holding a bachelors or masters degree in computer science, computer engineering, management information systems, or a related technical field. Experience in AWS, Azure or any other public cloud. Good knowledge of DevOps with MLOps experience being a distinct advantage. Knowledge of using Docker and/or Kubernetes. Experienced in integrating technologies across different architectures. Experience with development methodologies, e.g. Agile. (CI/CD) experience with tools such as Github.
