Employee Relations Specialist. Are you an experienced Employee Relations Specialist or are you a HR Generalist/Business Partner who is looking to move to a more specialised area of HR such as ER? Our client, a major employer in the Limerick region & a global services multinational, are now expanding their HR team in the city & have engaged with CPL to help source strong candidates to interview for this newly created role so if you're interested, please apply! The Job : Working closely with the HR Leader, the successful candidate will be a key part of the overall HR team but will cover a remit specifically focused on employee relations & serving as a subject matter expert on all relevant ER issues. You will lead investigations of grievances, disciplinaries & other formal procedures independently or in conjunction with line managers, review existing & develop new HR policies/procedures to meet changing ER guidelines, manage employee data access requests & partner with group managers & leadership colleagues on their specific departmental needs in ER. Your Skills/Experience that we need : 3rd level degree qualified ideally in HR or a related discipline. 2-3+ years experience as an Employee Relations Specialist or 3-5+ years in a Generalist/Business Partner role with strong exposure to ER. Additional employee relations/employment law focused qualifications or training would be an advantage. Excellent IT skills including a high level of ability in all Microsoft applications. Proven experience in working across diverse teams & engaging with colleagues at all levels. The Offer : This position is being offered as an initial 12 month contract with expectation of longer term & salary on offer will depend on the skills & experience mix of the candidate. This role will be a hybrid mix of 2 days in office/3 days working from home so may suit candidates outside of the traditional commuting areas of Limerick city.
