Financial Controller. Are you an experienced Finance Manager or Financial Controller who is now open to a new challenge? Our client, a US manufacturing multinational in the engineering sector have now engaged with CPL to recruit for an upcoming Financial Controller position to be based in their Shannon region site. The Job : As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for leading the finance function both here in Ireland & at a smaller sister site in the US, partnering with the operations leadership teams in both regions & delivering on strategic finance & growth plans. In addition to the above more strategic duties, you will also take ownership of the quarterly & annual accounts close processes for both sites, prepare detailed financial & budgetary reports, analyse inventory & business costs, lead locally focused accounting projects & engage with the global shared services teams as & when needed on their duties. Your Skills/Experience that we need : 3rd level degree qualified. Qualified accountant with 3-4+ years experience in a similar level FM or FC role. Excellent IT skills including a high level of ability in all Microsoft applications. Ability/exposure to SAP would be an advantage. Strong analytical, organisational & communications skills. Experience gained from the manufacturing/engineering sector or a cost focused accounting role would be an advantage. Ability to travel (approx. 5-10%) annually. The Offer : This position is being offered on a permanent basis with base salary very much negotiable depending on the individual candidates skills & experience. In addition there will be a very strong benefits package including bonus, significant pension contribution, full family health care, educational assistances, etc. etc. ***Please note this role will be a permanent hybrid mix of 2-3 days on site/work from home depending on business/personal needs so could suit candidates outside the traditional commuting region for Shannon/Limerick.
