On behalf of our Manufacturing client based in Dromcollogher, Co Limerick we are currently seeking a Maintenance Fitter to join their Team. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES. Work with colleagues in a safe environment adhering to safety procedures at all times. Fit up, jig and tack complex assemblies. Performing MIG, TIG and other types of welding methods depending on the project. Operate various equipment including saw, drill, press, guillotine, metalworker, welding machines, CNC pipe bender, grinders and polishing equipment. Work to tight deadlines. Report any issues to management in a timely manner. Work with your team and the engineering teams to root cause and problem solve issues. Assist with the introduction and validation of new tooling as required. Maintain work areas in a clean and orderly manner by practicing good housekeeping. Attend and complete all required training. REQUIREMENTS. Ability to work as part of a team and on ones own initiative. Solas-qualified M.A.M.F., or Metal Fabricator, ideally with 3+ years post-qualification experience carrying out comparable work. Referenceable track record in problem-solving. Experience in factory environment an advantage. Analytical approach to problem solving. Self-motivated, high energy, positive attitude with initiative for timely completion of goods.
