Chief Operating Officer   (COO. Our client, a dynamic & highly successful multi-site financial services organisation headquartered in Co. Clare are now expanding their leadership team & looking to recruit an experienced Chief Operating Office (COO) to support the next stage of their growth. The Job : As a key part of the leadership team & reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a pivotal role in the overall day to day management of the organisation & oversee duties such as ensuring compliance with legislation & risk management, driving the implementation of new processes & procedures, overseeing customer focused operations, managing the HR function, liaising with internal/external auditors & ensuring adequate reporting process & controls are in place for the organisation to operate successfully. In addition to these duties, you will also support the CEO in the implementation of strategic business goals, participate in all relevant board level meetings, provide in-depth operations reports to management teams & promote a culture reflecting the organisations values. Your Skills & Experience that we need : 3 rd level degree qualified ideally in business studies, accounting or a related discipline. Further qualifications in banking/finance (eg QFA) would be a major advantage. 5+ years experience in a similar operations management role within the banking, financial services or related sectors. Excellent interpersonal skills & ability to engage with colleagues at all levels of seniority. Proven ability to self-manage & take ownership of projects. The Offer : The is a full time/permanent position with base salary, depending on experience/qualifications but expected to range to approx 85k with a strong benefits package.
