Legal Counsel. Are you a qualified solicitor with strong experience from an in-house legal role within the banking or financial services sector? Our client, a major nationwide provider of banking & financial services are now looking to expand their Legal & Compliance team by now hiring a Legal Counsel to join the organisation in Shannon. The Job : Reporting to the Head of Legal, the successful candidate will act as a key part of the legal team & provide support on matters including supplier engagement, reviewing existing commercial contracts, analysing legal impacts of new legislation, instructing external legal partners/stakeholders on transaction matters, project management & implanting new processes/procedures. In addition to the above you will also make recommendations on compliance matters, complete legal documentation & support the wider leadership groups on matters related to their areas of business. Your Skills/Experience that we need : Qualified solicitor. Additional qualifications relevant to the banking/financial services sector would be an advantage. 3+ years post qualification experience gained in an in-house or legal practice position. In-depth knowledge of commercial contracts, banking legislation, litigation, etc. Excellent inter-personal skills & ability to multi-task. The Offer : The salary on offer will depending on candidate skills & experience but expected to range from 50-60k.
