Business Development Manager. Our client, a fast growing, dynamic & award winning educational technology organisation headquartered in Limerick, are now looking to recruit an experienced Business Development & Commercial Operations Manager. This newly created role is truly a rare opportunity for an experienced, commercially focused & highly motivated professional to join the companys leadership team at a pivotal stage in their growth plans & in conjunction with the wider executive team help to drive continued success both now & into the future. The Role : As a key part of the leadership team, your role will focus primarily on growing the client base in the educational sector through expanding engagement with the existing client/partner base as well as sourcing & developing new client/partner accounts & opportunities, initially within the Irish market but with potential to grow into the UK & other international markets. You will also be responsible for handling complex tender/quotation processes, building brand awareness through networking activities, oversee company KPIs & analyse commercial performance against budget. In addition to the above, you will also epitomise the companys core values, build trusting relationships with non-commercial partners & lead/motivate the wider commercial team. Skills/Experience Required : 3rd level degree qualified. 4-5+ years business development/commercial management experience. Experience gained in the educational services/technology, state/semi-state services or not for profit sectors would be a considerable advantage. Excellent attention to detail, interpersonal skills & ability to manage multiple projects. Ability to travel when required. The Offer : This role is being offered on a permanent basis with salary depending on relevant skills & experience but is expected to be 50-75k per annum + bonus & with significant further growth opportunity including for equity earn out upon achieving certain milestones.
