Financial Controller – Formation Homes Ireland   Salary: Negotiable DOE   Start: ASAP      We are looking for a confident and driven candidate to oversee the finances for our. exciting and rapidly growing construction operations here at Formation Homes.  As an industry leader, we are looking for a. capable and enthusiastic candidate to join our dynamic team, expanding the growth. and progression of the company.     Based in our Limerick offices, this is an exciting chance for a technically strong. candidate to make the role their own and have an innovative and effective input. into the financial control of our expanding operations.     As you will be overseeing our day-to-day activities here at Formation, it’s vital that you are a great. team player, able to communicate effectively and efficiently with staff on all. levels to ensure clarity and cohesion on all of our projects.      You will also be a. qualified accountant with great analytical skills and experience in commercial. environments (ideally construction), with the ability to methodically work. through issues while presenting solid research on which to base future decisions.     You will have a great eye for quality and detail, bringing accuracy and precision to all your. work whilst also being flexible and able to easily adjust to new work demands. and processes when they arise. Also effectively delivering exceptional work to. tight deadlines, with a great enthusiasm and willingness to get the job done. and really encourage the whole team.     You will be a passionate self-starter, keen to generate new ideas and solutions to innovate. the business, with the commercial aptitude to consistently look for ways to. improve our financial processes.      This is an all-encompassing role, so we are really looking for someone to take the lead on. advancing and developing the financial controls of this growing company.     With this exciting opportunity, some key responsibilities for this role are:  · Oversight and co-ordination of accounts payable  · Undertaking the monthly close process  · Costs monitoring and reporting  · Delivering management reports, KPIs and analysis of results for the Formation and its sister companies  Invoicing to clients and Co-ordination of sales tracking  Managing tax compliance including VAT, RCT and others  Cash management including forecasting  Developing the current financial systems to efficiently support Formation needs  Ensuring adequate and robust financial controls are in place to minimise risk and protect company assets.
