EHS Technician required for our Limerick client. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 1 to 2 years experience to grow their career in an expanding company. THE ROLE: * Proactively champion safe working practices through promotion of a culture of continuous health and safety improvement. * Regularly review and update Risk Assessments, Company Safety Statement, Health and Safety Procedures and Emergency Response Plan and communicate changes to all employees. * Investigate, record and report accidents, incidents and near misses promptly, ensuring any corrective actions are applied without delay. * Support the review and assessment of plant modifications. * Liaise with Production Manager and Managing Director on all Health and Safety Matters. * Source and supply safety equipment. * Completion of reports for internal, corporate and regulatory distribution. * Maintain and update Quality Policy, Procedures, Process, Work Instructions and Forms in line with ISO 9001. * Conduct internal quality audits as per Internal Audit schedule. * Champion and take ownership of quality issues both internal and external. * Liaise with Production Manager / Production Supervisor / Team Leaders regarding quality issues highlighted internally and externally. * Aid in waste minimisation activities. * Assist with New Product Development where required. REQUIREMENTS: * Education; Third level (An advantage but not a necessity. * Work Experience: 1 year plus in a similar related role.
