Head of New Product Development. Limerick. Working with a leading Medical device company who are looking to recruit a Head of New Product Development. This is a brand-new role in a newly created department working closely with other functions. Candidates need to have experience with working with medical device product from concept stage through to packaging / marketing / Supply Chain. Duties include: The successful candidate will take innovative product ideas and develop from concept to being produced in large quantities. Working with OEM manufacturing partners through the Lean Design, bring new products to production. Prepare newly developed products for market launch. Skills and Qualifications: • Third level degree in project management or biomedical discipline. • Strong technical ability and commercial awareness. • 5 years experience bringing a product to marketing. • Knowledge of the CE and regulatory process an advantage. • Experience of lean Product development. • Exposure to in design thinking for new product developments.
