EMC Lab Technician.   Experienced Technician to join an Electrical/Electronic Test Laboratory at our Limerick site. Reporting to the Lab Manager in the lab, this Technician will: Receive training on existing calibration and test procedures initially. Follow Electromagnetic Compatibility “EMC” test plans which describe the type of test and any specific test requirements. Set-up test systems and product samples for test. Operate test systems, carry out EMC testing, analyze data and complete templated reports. Communicate information and work closely with the product line Engineer. Travel occasionally. Skill requirements/Experience: Ability to work both independently and in a team in a measurement laboratory. Must be self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced laboratory environment. Must be capable of multi-tasking and handling multiple projects. Familiar with general laboratory test equipment and measurement practices. Experience with EMC measurements desirable. Good communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, organization, and time management skills. Good computer skills, including MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel. PCB Layout experience desirable.
