A Procurement Coordinator responsible for QC purchasing is required for our Limerick based trailblazing pharma client. This role requires someone with extensive purchasing and some previous regulated GMP experience. This is a permanent position with excellent benefits. Join a leading multinational today. THE ROLE: * Identify the demand and creation of purchase requisitions to drive future demand requirements. * Responsible for developing and implementing solutions to Quality Control (QC) Procurement issues as they arise, as well as advising QC management of the issues. * Evaluates future requirements for completeness, accuracy, lead time, risk management, compliance with budget, compliance with specifications, and to ensure that the cost codes used are in accordance with established policies. * Support Strategic Sourcing and Procurement with the strengthening of key supplier relationships and service providers. * Manages daily communications with vendors and helps prepare and maintain relevant company contract documentation. * Performs audits or cycle counts to confirm accuracy of inventory levels. * Initiate Supplier Corrective Action Reports (SCAR) for non-conformance materials / related services. * Support Strategic Sourcing and Procurement in the Annual review and negotiation of Material Pricing and Standard Setting. * Develop working relationships w/suppliers and internal clients, * Implement and Maintain cost savings initiatives. * Introduce new and innovative ideas for goods and services. * Analyze current and potential suppliers in assigned commodities. * Identify ways of improving the QC procurement processes, tools, policies and procedures, to drive efficiency and proactive engagement in opportunities. REQUIREMENTS: * A 3rd Level Qualifiaction in a realated area and relevant work experience may be substituted for educational experience.
