Leading the IT Operations Team, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the function within the company, and ensuring your team is well equipped to facilitate the requirements of the business and its international customer base. THE ROLE: * Act as team lead for the IT Operations team and provide hands-on support for the team. * Ensuring smooth operation of all team functions including performance management, talent management, resource planning, administrative support such as rota management (24/7) etc… * Manage & coordinate team workload in line with internal and external service level agreements. * Working with the team to improve and implement process improvements. * Driving excellence in service offered to our customers and where required, working with the end customer on issue resolution and corrective actions. * Liaise with internal stakeholders and relevant external parties to ensure appropriate service levels are met and maintained. * Detailed analysis and. * Defining, and prioritising, projects to reduce disruption and/or disruption risk. * Mentoring and growing the Team. * Ensure compliance with local and group policies and procedures. * Collaborate with the Head of IT on strategy development and department planning. REQUIREMENTS: * An IT or business degree or equivalent academic qualifications or relevant work experience. * 3 years+ experience in a management or leadership role. * Highly effective communicator with the ability to influence at all levels of the business. Demonstrated experience of collaborating across the business and achieving results. * Strong understanding of the Customer journey, extremely customer-centric coupled with a commercial awareness. * Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills. * Ability to perform Root Cause Analysis effectively. * Ability to understand business processes to enable and identify solutions. * Seek ways to improve technical and functional processes. * Proactive and solution-based approach with an ability to make sense of complex information and effectively solve problems. * Ability to multi-task coupled with the flexibility to adapt to the demand of roles / situations. * Knowledge of IT Service Management and ITIL desirable but not essential.
