Quality Supervisor - Receiving Inspection – Limerick – permanent - medical device - multi-national! This job will suit a Quality Supervisor with experience in an inspection / laboratory or related environment with hands on people supervisory experience. Medical Device experience is essential for this position! Must have 3+ years experience in a similar role! Fantastic career opportunity for the right person! Role: Assess components and devices upon receipt to ensure regulatory and company guidelines have been met, and that the components and devices meet operational standards as designed. Skills Required: Demonstrated ability to lead teams, coach others, and transfer knowledge. Ability to use all applicable instruments and equipment, hand eye coordination, and high manual dexterity. Full understanding of applicable inspection procedures, including the ability develop procedures. Proficient in all inspection techniques for receiving inspection. Ability to clearly describe and convey nonconformance issues, and enter them into QMS (Quality Management System. Ability to program and contribute to the validation of automated test equipment. Ability to provide performance feedback, confirm understanding, and have a positive impact on competency and output of other inspectors. Strict attention to detail. Qualification Required. BE/BS Degree. A Post-graduate qualification in Quality Assurance is preferable although not mandatory. At least three years Quality Supervisor experience in an inspection/lab environment or related role within the medical device industry including direct supervision of employees.
