FRS Recruitment are currently hiring an Infrastructure Manager for our client a leading technology manager based in Limerick. Minimum requirements: At least 10 years in a technical and operations support environment for a managed infrastructure or cloud-based solution provider operating within the regulated financial community. Good interpersonal and communications skills, with an ability to communicate in non-technical terms to non-technical people. Excellent experience of leading and developing distributed teams across multiple time-zones and different jurisdictions. Good understanding of financial regulatory reporting practices (ControllerView an added benefit. Bachelor's degree in information technology or similar qualification. Strong supervisory skills and a familiarity with team management, an attention to quality and a desire for improvement. Excellent awareness of security and confidentiality issues and experience of identifying security vulnerabilities. Desired: Strong knowledge of public cloud architecture ( preferably AWS. Awareness of tools managing the cloud environment, including sysadmin skills and experience of writing scripts in an administrative language.
