As a Web Application Software Engineer, you will be presented with an opportunity to take an active role in a dynamic and challenging environment and drive forward our vision of having an easy to use, modern, a web-based user interface that is responsible for editing the meta-data that drives our ecosystem. This meta-data regulates and supports nearly all of our business processes from how our hardware devices behave, what permissions our administrative users have throughout the system and what information we have on file for our various customers. You will be asked to: • Participate in requirements analysis and the user story discovery process. • Turn business requirements into working software. • Provide troubleshooting, thoroughly unit test all changes, as well as debug issues and solve problems. • Contribute to research, design and implementation of improvements to our code base. • Analyze, implement fixes and put in place protections for vulnerabilities found by security researchers. • Help promote and drive sound engineering design, process and quality assurance practices. Required Skills. The required skills for this position are: • Experience in software development using Microsoft C# .NET andASP.NET. • Expertise utilizing the MVC pattern to control the various aspects of the user experience. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Experience developing, deploying and debugging software on the Windows operating system. • Experience with one or more source control platforms such as Perforce, Git, or Team Foundation Server (TFS. • Experience with one or more defect tracking applications. • Experience in agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban. • Experienced with continuous integration concepts. • Ability to understand technical requirements and convert them into detailed work tasks. Preferred Skills. The preferred skills for this position include: • Experience with the latest user interface frameworks such as AngularJS, React and JQuery. • Experience with Oracle database development using PL/SQL.
