Are you a Director of Nursing who finds caring for elderly people rewarding and enjoys management? Then keep reading as a large nursing home in North Tipperary / Limerick area is looking for a person like you. As a Director of Nursing you will maintain a high standard of care across all units, daily care and activities in accordance with the best practice and within available resources. You will manage a team of professional clinical and non-clinical staff. Planning, development and management will be your part of your daily duties. You will part of a larger management team, with plenty of external support from other departments with group. Your standard working hours will be Monday to Fridays, 42h/week, you will report to Group's Area Manager. Salary on offer will depend on experience: €65-75k. Also excellent benefits on offer: contribution pension, VHI contribution, annual bonus. Company profile: This large Nursing home is located in a rural location of North Co. Tipperary, but very near Limerick city. Home provides 24 hours nursing care of the highest standards to all residents. This home has recently became part of a well performing and expanding Irish Nursing home group, offering a good management support structure to all their Directors. Your profile: To qualify for this fantastic role, you must have a Third level degree in Nursing, Management qualification and be actively registered with NMBI. You will also have a minimum of 3 years experience in working with older people within the last six years of your career. Ideally you will also have good people management experience. You will be of good character, enjoy a challenge and take pride in achieved results.
