***field sales engineer*** our client, a highly successful engineering services provider to the global food production sector, are now undergoing a period of significant expansion & are looking to recruit an experienced field sales engineer on a permanent basis to cover their client base across the southern portion of ireland. this is a fantastic opportunity for highly ambitious & suitably qualified applicants to further develop their career in a dynamic, highly successful organisation & further developed their key sales, engineering & key client management skills so if youre interested, please apply! the job : as a key part of the sales team, you will be responsible for managing & growing an existing client base across munster, leinster & certain parts of dublin as well as sourcing new customers across the food manufacturing sector. you will design technical quotations & manage the sales process, engage with customers on bespoke equipment/service requirements, develop new markets & achieve your sales targets. in addition to the above, you will also develop an in-depth knowledge of the sector, gain understanding of quality & compliance regulations & act as customer champion within the organisation. your skills & experience that we need : 4-5+ years experience in a similar sales engineer or technical sales role. relevant 3rd level qualification mechanical or process engineering qualification (or similar) would be a significant advantage. proven experience in managing key accounts as well as developing new customers & markets. knowledge/experience from the food manufacturing sector would be an advantage. strong it knowledge & ability to understand technical client requirements. the offer : the position on offer is full time/permanent with salary depending on experience/qualifications but would consist of a base salary of 45k (approx.) + 10-15k commission/bonus structure, car, phone, etc. how to apply : if youre interested in applying or want to know more about this job 1st, contact thomas hogan in cpl limerick in complete confidence on 061221701 or email your cv to thomas.hogan@cpl.ie. for a full list of open jobs, have a look at www.cpl.ie.
