A Senior QA Specialist is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Limerick based client. This is an opportunity to join a select team with our major Limerick based biopharmaceutical client. THE ROLE: * Perform and lead activities in support of product manufacture while ensuring compliance with QA policies and procedures, cGMPs, SOPs and company standard requirement documents. * Represent Quality Assurance in support of complex and/or significant deviations, change controls, CAPA's etc including active participation in investigation, evaluation and problem resolution. * Represent the organisation on behalf of QA with external partners to communicate QA policy and procedures and provide input on regulatory communications. * Train and/or mentor employees. * Provide consultation or advice in alignment with QA policies. * Perform activities associated with materials: review, receipt, inspection, shipping etc. * Review/edit/approve controlled documents. * Review and approve investigations associated with Raw Materials, product, laboratory or facilities. REQUIREMENTS: * Requires BS/BA in Scientific discipline or related field and minimum 5 years relevant experience. * Understanding of a biologics manufacturing operations is preferred.
