I am delighted to be assisting this highly respected multinational company in Limerick find a Field Service Engineer to join their team. It is a fabulous place to work. They have a highly attractive package including pension and health insurance. The Engineer will service, commission and operate existing equipment and new equipment in the process of being installed. The Engineer will be able to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and controls equipment. Responsibilities: Provide a full range of technical support services to clients- including installation, service, repair, overhaul, upgrade, modification and training. Complete electronic and mechanical installation according to the established standards. Start up the system and ensure it works well. Provide training to the users. Assist the client during the qualification of the systems. Maintain and repair installed systems according to the client service requests when required. Requirements: Degree or Diploma relating to electrical and mechanical fields desired. Experience desired but will consider outstanding entry level personnel with expressed desire and/or demonstrated aptitude for hands-on work as well. Ability to perform direct hands-on diagnostics and repairs (using hand tools, hand instruments, meters. Ability to read CAD prints and electrical diagrams. (Will train if necessary. Knowledge of rotating equipment, centrifugal pumps, positive displacement pumps, heat exchangers and centrifugal compressors is a plus. Knowledge of controls and instruments is a plus.
