We have a new requirement for an Assistant Contracts Manager to work in Limerick with a leading construction contractor. As Assistant Contracts Manager you will be working closely with a Contracts Manager to successfully deliver projects on time, within budget, finished to the highest standards and implemented within the required Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental parameters. Principle Duties & Accountabilities: • Must be technically competent with the ability to set and track project milestones and deliverables. • Must function effectively as liaison with clients and design teams to resolve issues or concerns in conjunction with the Contracts Manager. • Assist the Contracts Manager in the delivery of the project on time, within specification and within budget. • Develop and maintain site logistics plan, in coordination with Contracts Manager. • Assist the Contracts Manager ensuring all personnel on site conduct their duties to the required Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental standards. • Assist the Contracts Manager in the management of the day to day operational duties. • Assist the Contracts Manager to develop and deliver progress reports, analyse results and troubleshoot problem areas. • Build, grow and develop business relationships for the success of the project. Knowledge/Skills/Qualifications: • An Engineering / Construction Management / Project Management Diploma / Degree required. • Minimum 3 years post graduate experience. • Thorough knowledge of computer applications. • Excellent analytical and organisational skills. • Demonstrates continuous efforts to improve operations, decrease turnaround times and streamline work processes. • Superior oral and written communication and interpersonal and negotiation skills required. • Flexibility and ability to adapt to a changing work environment are essential. This position may suit a Site Engineer or Site Manager who is looking to advance their career. The successful person will receive ongoing support. Salary and benefits package will depend on experience.
