Acrow Recruitment is seeking interest from experienced Contracts Managers to work with an established building contractor on residential projects in the West and Mid-West of Ireland. Role: • Lead multiple project teams with responsibility for ensuring project success. • Ensuring projects are constructed in accordance with contract documents and all relevant current building regulations. • Responsible for the overall safety standards during the construction phase. • Ensuring projects have adequate resources e.g. manpower, plant, subcontractors, materials, facilities and management. • Liaising with the client, design team, local authorities and utility companies. • Managing and monitoring the performance of the site teams. • Ensuring the quality of workmanship is maintained at a high level at all times. • Ensuring the company QMS and EMS standards are implemented and maintained. • Monitoring the financial performance of projects from commencement to the end of the defect’s liability period. • Preparing progress reports. • Ensuring all necessary contractual correspondence is issued. • Attending design team and client meetings as required. • Chairing fortnightly or weekly site team meetings. • Assisting all members of the site teams in all aspects of duties if required. • Representing the company in a professional manner at all times, carrying out duties in the best interests of the company. • Cooperating with all various departments within the company. Requirements: • Degree or Diploma in Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent. • Minimum of 5 years Contracts Management experience. • 10+ years’ residential construction experience. • Experience working on public contracts. • Knowledge of latest building regulation and certification standards. • Excellent IT Skills. The person hired for this position will receive a salary in the region of €100K to €120K, plus benefits.
