We are looking for the Sr. Test Automation Engineer to join our Quality Engineering team which is responsible for developing and maintaining enterprise level test automation framework (TAF) for a number of products which are part of the single First Data International Payment Platform (IPP. The candidate will be involved in the entire Software Development Life Cycle improving the code quality by bringing specialized testing knowledge of multiple automation tools, techniques, best practices, and processes. The candidate requires excellent automation skills, deep technical knowledge, strong data analytical skills and ability to work with different teams in order to deliver high quality enterprise solution. Following is a list of responsibilities: Designing, building and maintaining scalable, configurable and robust test automation frameworks. Developing and setting up mocks / stubs / virtual services for smooth automation framework execution. Supporting test and development teams in analyzing and investigating issues coming from automation test runs. Ensuring standardization is followed for automation across different teams. Ensuring automation framework is compatible across different automation levels. Performing automation framework code / script review. Working with developers, analysts, and tech leads across the enterprise to identify appropriate test automation solution. Taking an active part in the product design discussions with inputs regarding testability of functional elements, product designs and planning. Coaching team members and propagating test automation across different scrum teams. Researching new testing tools, methodologies, trends and upgrade existing practices and processes. Maintaining test automation documentation. Requirements. Hands-on technical experience in building test automation frameworks using Open Source frameworks such as jUnit, Selenium, Serenity BDD (Cucumber, Rest Assured) Robot Framework and JMeter. Strong development skills in Java / Python writing test automation scripts. Experience working in agile development teams. Experience in Behavior Driven Development and its implementation in the automation frameworks. Experience in Data-Driven Approach using Test Data Management tools with the data sources in form of DB, Rest API, CSV and JSON files. Experience in ETL / DB automation testing. Experience in SQL queries. Experience in Mobile automation testing. Experience in Service Virtualization / Mocking / Stubbing. Experience in Jenkins, Git / Gerrit.
