Financial Controller. Our very successful client is looking to hire a Financial Controller. This company has ambitious plans for growth in the future. This person will provide commercial and strategic support to the team and will work closely with the MD in the ongoing development of this business. This role is located just outside Limerick city. Responsibilities: Preparation of the Management Accounts and responsibility of key areas of the P&L and Balance Sheet. Generate financial reporting to produce results and statements for all budgets and financial forecasts/strategies as well as advise on significant issues and management of accounts. Manage operations to include analyses in providing information to aid key strategic decision making and formulate business strategies and management of team contributions. Manage accounts department including policies and procedures, finance staff, accounting controls, cash and working capital management. Review and improve finance policies, procedures and controls. Key Requirements: Qualified accountant with a number of years post-qualification experience. Have experience in leading a busy finance function with the ability to demonstrate a track record of supporting a business commercially and strategically. Experience in collaborating with an executive team and contributing to strategic direction and decision-making. Excellent people and leadership skills. Experience in budgeting and have a strong understanding of variance analysis and reporting. Pro-active individual who is comfortable interacting at senior levels within a growing business. Ability to work in fast paced environment with excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills/ability to prioritize work.
