Unijobs DAC on behalf of our public sector client, the University of Limerick, are currently recruiting for a temporary part-time position within the International Education Division as an administrator. The successful candidate will work in a current job-share arrangement, three days per week followed by two days per week every other week. The rate of pay of this post is €13.51 per hour. Main Duties & Responsibilities. Acting as the key point of contact for: Handle queries by email, phone, CRM and in person from potential and enrolled students and their families/education agents. Provide continued support for graduates who are on the Third Level Graduate Scheme. Other sections within IED/UL. Planning of events. Support for visas, immigration, University services and cultural issues to individuals and segments of the Full Degree student cohort. Support and identification of students who are struggling academically with the help of the Student Support Officer. Identification of student issues which may present a larger trend/issue which need to be escalated to the Executive Administrator, Full Degree or Student Support Officer. Assisting with international applications in a supporting role to the Executive Administrator Full Degree and Senior Administrator Full Degree. The daily transfer of applications from the online application portal. Reviewing course leader application recommendation reports and preparing offer/regret letters for review by Executive Administrator Full Degree. Communication of application outcome in the form of regret/offer letters to students/ agents by email. Responding to queries from students/agents regarding the status of application. Liaising with the Fees office in relation to international student payments. The preparation of visa support letters for prospective students. Other ah-hoc duties as required by Executive Administrator Full Degree. Qualifications & Experience. Leaving Certificate or equivalent.
