Responsibilities: Playing a role in software design, requirements analysis, investigation of leading edge technologies, and software development. Collaborating with the core development team and the product owner to define and estimate business requirements and then translate these into specific software tasks. Collaborate as a member of an agile team to get products and components developed and completed with best in class software development. Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable and reliable software. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications developed. Requirements: 3+ years experience in a similar role. Familiarity with Java / J2EE. Experience with JavaScript frameworks like AngularJS. Experience with automated testing Unit, system. Comfortable with Linux, Maven. Team-oriented and collaborative. Spring framework experience. Familiar with Git version control. Excellent written and verbal English skills. Nice to have: Kafka, Spring Cloud/XD/Batch/Data flow, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure. Experience with Microservices and or RESTFUL web services. Scala experience, especially concurrent Scala. Strengths: Possess a basic understanding of agile development methodologies, specifically Scrum and Kanban. Preferred qualifications: BSc. or Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical field. Strong analytical skills and a demonstrable bias toward action.
