Perform design, development and installation of equipment, automation transfer systems and processes to bring innovative solutions to equipment. Working closely with other disciplines, apply troubleshooting expertise to resolve equipment, systems and process problems using strong analytical methodologies. Support the NPI process. Identification and implementation of equipment related continuous improvement activities that increase product quality, quantity and growth of overall equipment effectiveness. Engage with personnel in the identification and resolution of corrective/preventative actions that address quality, technical, and manufacturing issues. Project management, planning and co-ordination of multiple projects, within a matrix environment. Implementation of safety/environmental requirements on new and existing equipment. Minimum a Level 8. B.Sc. or B.Eng. honours degree qualification in Mechanical/Production/Manufacturing Engineering, with a demonstrable track record of delivering results with a minimum of 7 years’ experience. Innovation and problem solving are core competencies in the business and will lead to you being sought for technical leadership in the continuous improvement of existing manufacturing equipment and in the development and deployment of new technologies. You will be able to demonstrate good project management and communication skills, you will systematically solve problems, foster innovation and use data in support of your decision making.
