I am recruiting a Data Operations Analyst for my client in Limerick this is a fantastic opportunity for suitable candidates. Data Operations Analyst. The Data Operations Analyst will serve as a key team member of our Engineering team, being responsible for collecting and collating data connected to most of the major online retailer and brand websites and ensuring the quality and consistency of the data. The successful candidate will use a wide range of industry standard and company specific tools to gather the data from multiple sources and consolidate it in our system as well as utilising a number of monitoring utilities to ensure the ongoing quality and reliability of the data. Additionally, the candidate will work to proactively identify areas within the applications where improvements can be made to provide enhanced ease-of-use and functionality. The ideal candidate is a technically-savvy problem-solver with a focus on data integrity and attention to detail. The Data Operations Analyst is dedicated to ensuring both the quality and consistency of data gathered from thousands of sources while working in a collaborative team environment in order to ensure timely and effective solutions to technical issues. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate: The ability to think outside the box to find solutions. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail. 1-3 years working in a role that has a significant data-management element preferably in data procurement from eCommerce-related websites. Excellent data manipulation skills using a spreadsheet application such as Excel or similar. The ability to work independently to research and resolve issues of a highly technical nature. The ability to collaborate with team members and share application knowledge. Desired Knowledge and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar technically-oriented qualification. Knowledge of eBay, Amazon, Rakuten or other online marketplaces. Knowledge of comparison shopping sites (Google Base, PriceGrabber, Shopping.com, Yahoo!) HTML, FTP, SQL and other web related protocols and languages (such as javascript, ASP.NET, PHP, etc...)
