On behalf of my client in the Munster area I am recruiting for a Medical Scientist . This permanent opportunity will be based within the organisation's Histopathology Lab and report directly to the Lab Manager. You will be involved in carrying out laboratory duties and performing routine work to the highest professional standards as followed by the Academy of Clinical Science and Laboratory Medicine Laboratory Science (ACSLM. If you possess the following experience and qualifications we would love to hear from you: Degree in Biomedical Science, specialising in Histopathology (as recognised by the ACSLM. Possess membership of, or be eligible for membership of, the Academy of Clinical Science & Laboratory Medicine. Previous experience with working in a Clinical Pathology Laboratory is essential. At least 6 months experience as a Medical Scientist working in a Histology laboratory. Have excellent technical ability together with the necessary skills to develop a strong histology function. Have excellent interpersonal / communication skills. Demonstrate planning and organisational skills. Demonstrate flexibility to work within a team, in a busy environment. Have good IT skills.
