Introduction: Excellent opportunity for an experienced Accountant looking for a flexible role (3 Day or 25-30 Hour Week) with a progressive and growing technology company based in Limerick. About the Company: IMS is a Limerick Based Technology Company specializing in the provision and support of Network and Software Services (Broadband, WiFi, VoIP, TV, etc.) in Multi-User (Hotels, Apartment Complexes, Colleges, Student Accommodation, etc.) environments in Ireland, the UK and throughout Europe. Areas of Responsibility: 1. Financial Reporting and Analysis (timely and accurate. a. Monthly management accounts. b. Year-end accounts preparation and analysis for submission to company auditor. c. Financial analysis and performance measurement relative to company KPI's. 2. Budgeting, Forecasting and Projections. a. Work closely with Senior Management to prepare budgets and strategic plans. b. Prepare and monitor Monthly, Quarterly and Annual rolling budget information. c. Assist management to respond decisively to budget deviations. 3. Treasury, Banking and Working Capital. a. Working Capital / Cashflow Management on an ongoing basis through effective reporting systems and active participation in the business. b. Monthly reporting on Borrowing and Leasing. c. Preparation of Project Funding Proposals for Capital Expenditure. 4. I.T. a. Management of Existing Accounting Systems. b. Implement Accounting System Improvements as Required. c. Increase Automation of Billing, Debt Collection, Direct Debit Process. 5. Payroll. a. Monthly Payroll Management. b. Monthly Expense and Overtime Management. c. Management of Company Staff Bonus and Incentive Programme. 6. Other. a. Strategic Financial Advice in line with Long Term Company Objectives. b. Tax Returns and Compliance (in conjunction with Company Auditor. c. Re-negotiation of supplier agreements and ongoing cost saving projects. Experience and Qualifications: • Qualified Accountant with 3+ years of industry experience. • Experience of managing an accounting function in a challenging and dynamic commercial environment. • Experience and understanding of operating lease business models. • A strong combination of commercial and technical skills. • Proven track record in analysing and managing costs and overheads as an ongoing objective. • Strong IT system skills and an open mind to new technology. • Excellent presentation, communication and people skills.
