Operations Supervisor. The Organisation/Opportunity. My client a leading med tech multi-national company with multiple facilities in Ireland are currently seeking a Sr Ops Supervisor for their site in Limerick. The Sr Ops Supervisor role represents a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to progress their career with one of Ireland's premier employers. Some of the key elements of the Senior Operations Supervisor role include. * Leading a production team to ensure targets/KPIs for quality/service/costs/people development are achieved. * Sets team and individuals up for success by providing training, coaching, feedback and support. * Creates a positive employee relations environment and facilitates high engagement within the production team and with the cross functional team. * Liaises with training to develop and implement training curriculums and team training plans & participating in the selection and hiring of Production Operators. * Lead / participate in continuous improvement activities, e.g. Lean/Cost Reduction initiatives. * Provides leadership and direction for the advancement of Lean Manufacturing. You will hold a relevant degree with at least 4 years' people management experience in the manufcaturing sector. You will be enjoy being challenged in an environment that places a high degree of emphasis on accountability for service levels, inventory management, standard cost and expense control and quality/GMP compliance. You will a natural problem solver a proven track record of handling multiple tasks in a fast paced environment with an ability to coach, provide effective feedback and manage performance.
