We at the Noel Group are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant for our Limerick based hotel client to join their team in the Finance Department. Job Summary: Working as part of the Finance Department to provide great hospitality and accuracy to our guests and hotel. Reporting to the Senior Hotel Accountant and hotel group Financial Controller. Main Responsibilities: A Self-motivated individual that works well as part of a team. Well organised- achieving deadlines for tasks and meeting targets. Have good communication skills- to your colleagues in the hotel and external agencies. Be trustworthy and security conscious, you will have access to cash and guest and company financial details. Detail orientated- you will be completing repetitive, structured tasks which must be correct. Main Duties: Assist the hotel senior accountant to ensure profitability is optimised. To ensure that all customer requests, complaints and queries are responded to promptly and effectively. To ensure banking transactions are processed and cleared in a timely manner. To ensure weekly and monthly task deadlines are met up to the required standard. To participate in the month end accounts process. To assist in the preparation of the monthly balance sheet reconciliation. To assist in the preparation of forecasts and budgets. To assist with the valuation of stock takes. To supervise the AP and income audit functions within the hotel. To participate in training and want to be the best you can be in your role.
