They are now looking for an Electronics Engineer to join their team. With the market for electronic vehicles expanding at an exponential rate, you will have the chance to build your experience within an area at the forefront of vehicle technology and will find yourself well ahead of your peers in terms of experience and skills. As the Electronics Engineer, you’ll play a lead role in the technical support of power supply products for electric vehicles. Acting as the ‘go-to’ person for support queries, you will conduct root cause analysis of production and field failures and will aim to resolve all incidents on a ‘first-fix’ basis. Imparting knowledge to colleagues, you will primarily work on power supply products but will also follow issues back to the source and will support design activities especially surrounding improvements. To be considered, you’ll need: - Experience of designing and operating AC to DC and DC to DC power conversion products up to 22KW for electrical vehicles. - Experience of power supply design, design environments and the design cycle. - A high level of IT literacy, including MS Office. - The flexibility to travel if required. - A degree level qualification in electronics engineering (NFQ Level 8 or higher. Organised and detail-oriented, as the Electronics Engineer, you’ll have a collaborative approach and great problem-solving skills. Excellent time-management and prioritisation abilities are also key. Ideally, you’ll have German language skills, in addition to English, but this isn’t essential. SAP knowledge would also be beneficial.
