BD is looking for a product owner with a passion for delivering software products supporting the patient care continuum to join their Biosciences function. The software product is FACSuite, clinical analytical software which is part of the FACSLyric instrument. Be the Product Owner. You will work in a highly collaborative agile environment with the other product owners, the development team, QA and with the product leadership in San Jose. Your job will include: Facilitate requirements analysis sessions with project stakeholders. Collaborate to create user personas, workflows, product features and manage a prioritized backlog. Manage functional and non-functional requirements artefacts and functional specifications throughout project lifecycle. Provide analysis and support to enable software development teams design and implement best user solutions, and to understand how the clinical scientist interacts with the system. Document user stories and acceptance criteria. Work collaboratively with the development team and lead architect/technical lead to determine technical direction and approach to system design and implementation. Gain and maintain flow cytometry domain knowledge – attend conferences, understand the user domain. Be Qualified. BS or higher within Science, Computer Science, Engineering or related field. Extensive flow cytometry knowledge and/or experience as a product owner in the medical devices field. Writing specifications and presenting to senior stakeholders. Experience in medical device industry or any regulated industry. Working and leading in a matrix-based multinational organization. Who you are. Enthusiastic. Organized. Great communicator. A problem solver. An influencer, with the ability to gain acceptance from others without harming relationships. Nice to have. Experience working in agile at scale, in particular with SAFe.
