Financial Accountant. Limerick City and County Council. There is a vacancy for a Financial Accountant in Limerick City and County Council. As the Authority responsible for Local Government in Limerick, Limerick City and County Council provides a multiplicity of services to the local community. Reporting to the Director of Service/Head of Finance, the successful candidate will be responsible for modernising and managing change in the Finance Function. S/he will work with multidisciplinary teams and will  be responsible for the introduction of new initiatives, policies and procedures. The successful candidate will: • possess a professional accountancy qualification and be a member of a recognised body of accountants, and. • have satisfactory experience of accountancy work, including management accounting and/or financial accounting.
