Specialising in the development and manufacture of innovative electronic, electromechanical and mechatronic products for a variety of industrial applications, our multinational client is now looking for to recruit an experienced Test Development Engineer who will deliver the implementation of Manufacturing Executions Systems across all production lines at their state-of-the-art facility in Co. Limerick. The Job. - Implementation of MES (Manufacturing Executions System) on production lines. - Support and debug of existing MES solutions in Kostal Ireland. - Provide support to test engineers on ongoing projects, including test development and MES. This includes wiring, development and testing. - Provide test engineering support to production as necessary. - Provide test engineering support for new and ongoing test development projects. - Set up and implementation of MES on new products on different platforms i.e. ICT, AOI, End Test etc. - Ensure a successful rollout of MES on designated production limes meeting lead times and implementation on new technologies. - Provision of training on MES systems. - Review and optimisation of existing MES solutions eliminating production utilisation issues. - Implementation of a new and faster method of MES communication on the test system. The Candidate. - A methodical, adaptable, flexible consistent person with good communication and interpersonal skills. A hard diligent worker who can combine high-quality work with high productivity. A highly motivated person with the ability to work as part of a team or individually. - Positive attitude to work. Capable of working in a pressurised environment while remaining calm and composed in all circumstances. - An innovative individual who can use their own initiative to improve the operation of the test engineering department. Experience. - 2-3 years experience in a High Volume Manufacturing Electronic Industry in a Test Engineering / Programming role. Skills. - Visual Basic software knowledge. - Functional test, ICT (In-Circuit Test. - AOI (Automated Optical Inspection. - Flash Programming or Flying Probe technology knowledge required. - High Level of debug skills. - Project Management skills and Electronic Circuitry knowledge required.
