A Test Technician - Lead is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Co Limerick based electronics manufacturing client. Please contact Diarmuid Buckley for full details. THE ROLE: * To plan organise and co-ordinate work on respective shifts, ensuring maximum utilisation of equipment and resources and achievement of goals. * To continue to carry out a hands on test role. * Ensure that the test equipment and personnel is being utilised to its maximum efficiency. * To ensure that scheduled P.M's are carried out and that all issues are followed through. * Demonstrate initiative to improve equipment performance, changeover time, cost effectiveness, time wasting, scrap and PPM reduction. * Managing the performance related concerns on the shifts including completion of appraisals. * Overall responsibility for Health, Safety and Well being of staff. REQUIREMENTS: * Cert/Diploma in Engineering / City & Guilds - Trade equivalent (NFQ Level 6 or 7. * 5 yrs experience in a hands - on test role within an electronics environment. * Good overall knowledge of all equipment and processes. * Proven capability demonstrated to lead and supervise employees.
