Head Housekeeper Co. Limerick Hotel. Busy family owned hotel in Co. Limerick is seeking a dynamic and motivated Head Housekeeper. The successful candidate will report directly to the Manager and will ultimately be responsible for all housekeeping aspects of the property. Responsible for all rooms & public areas within the hotel. They will have the ability to work on their own initiate and have the ability to lead and direct a dedicated small team. They will be professional, enthusiastic and have prior work experience as an accommodation supervisor within the hotel industry as well as possess excellent customer care and interpersonal skills. Previous experience in a 3* or 4* hotel is essential for this role. This is a hands on role between room cleaning, supervising, checking and lead this department. All year round employment. Responsibilities included in the role: " Ensure the highest levels of standards with regards hygiene and cleanliness. " Clean , Check rooms on departures and stay overs. " Recruitment of new team members when required. " Training of team as and when required. " Delegation of the Accommodation Team. " Provide instruction to team daily. " Liaise daily with other departments to ensure the smooth running of the operation. " Checking of all rooms and public areas. " Will also assist in room cleaning. " Training in Chemicals (COSHH) and cleaning equipment. " Computer literate. " Oversee small laundry within hotel. Salary €30,000. Immediate Interview & Start.
