Our client, a highly recognised engineering company in Co Limerick now seeks to hire a Project Manager. The successful candidate would be reporting directly to a Program Manager. The future Project Manager would organize, control and monitor all aspects of a project and motivate all involved to achieve the project objectives safely and within the agreed paramaters of time, cost and performance. Responsibilities & Duties: Lead a team of process and mechanical engineers. Be responsible for design, procurement, construction and testing activities during the project. Work closely with and drive internal teams to deliver on their specific project objective. Ensure that the system is delivered punctually, cost-effectively, to specification and meeting the highest quality standards. Work closely with suppliers and subcontractors in satisfying our customers’ expectations. A particular focus on the commercial effect of project decisions will be paramount. Monitor and report on project progress and identify and manage any risks to the project’s schedule or commercial objectives. Requirements: A recognised Mechanical or Process Engineering Qualification to a minimum of degree level. A project Management qualification would be desirable. Minimum 3 years’ experience in a related role. Experience involving complex mechanical process equipment an advantage. Experience of preparing and reviewing technical submissions. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Financial & Budgeting Experience. Ability to direct a multi-disciplined project team. Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work using one’s own initiative and meet strict deadlines. Package: Competitive. Terms: Perm-Full Time.
