HEAD CHEF- Co. Limerick 4* Hotel. This well know operation serves food all day and is seeking a Head Chef. Ideally you will have strong Restaurant or Gastro Style Food Operation experience as a current Head Chef or a Sous with 3 years solid cooking experience seeking first Head Chef Position. We are seeking a Hands on Head Chef that is passionate about Food, Presentation and TASTE! Role is 75% cooking and 25% Kitchen Management Administration as in HACCP Documentation, Purchasing & Requisition, Menu Development, Wastage Control and Staff Training. Prerequisites for this job include. " Previous experience in a 4* Hotel or Gastro Type Restaurant is preferred. " Great knowledge of Kitchen Management ( Costings-Portion Control-Menu Writing-Food Presentation. " Works with an all fresh produce kitchen and can produce tantalising and taste execution of all dishes. " Has a great palate for taste and a deadly eye for funky food presentation. " Has banqueting experience in function and wedding catering. " Can work well under pressure. " Can train the kitchen team to all standards required. " Wants to make a name for them selves.
