Assistant Manager. Our Client is a large Irish owned retailer based in the South West. They are seeking someone to join their team as Assistant Manager. The ideal candidate will be a natural team leader, can motivative and encourage staff, have clear open communication and have a bright, energetic and positive attitude. Responsibility: Ordering, stock management and visual merchandising. Must be flexible to work evenings and weekends. Lead and motivate all members of team. Link and upsell. Provide excellent level of customer service. Experience: Must have 1-2 years’ experience in management – Department manager, Fresh Food Manager, Checkout supervisor, Evening shift supervisor. Must have 1-2 years’ experience in stock management – including but not limited to: ordering, stock taking, stock rotation, merchandising and managing deliveries.
