We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk for a Full-time position with our Limerick based client. The role of the Accounts Receivable Clerk is ensure the client receives payment for goods and services and properly record the transactions. Responsibilities. • Prepare bills and invoices for sales or services rendered. • Collect on accounts by sending bill reminders and communicating with customers via phone, email, fax or mail. • Record payments by entering them into a ledger or accounting software. • Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted. Research any discrepancies by checking bills, invoices, sales receipts and bank deposit records. • Generate monthly, quarterly or annual financial statements and reports detailing paid and unpaid invoices and other accounts receivable activity. Reports typically list active accounts, the status of the accounts and collection costs. • Customer accourt maintenance. Candidate requirements. • Knowledge of MS Windows, MS Office and Excel in particular. • Solid Accounts Receivable experience. • Skill in working in a detail-oriented, deadline-driven environment. • Ability to prioritise tasks while maintaining consistent level of quality. • Ability to work with and for multiple employees and meet deadlines. • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
