An Industrial Engineer is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Co Limerick based client - a high volume, highly automated electronics manufacturer.Please contact Diarmuid Buckley for full details. THE ROLE: * Product cost improvement projects. * Factory Layouts including ergonomic workplace design & overall material handling improvements & optimisation. * Work methods leading to process & efficiency improvements. Time studies and work plans, including maintenance of SAP data base. * Industrial Engineer to provide manufacturing with accurate standard time and to ensure that production processes are effective. * Industrial Engineer to undertake Value Stream Mapping activities along with activity sampling. Simulation - Production Line Modelling. * Plant capacity analysis, line balancing. Line balance loss etc. Support new product introduction e.g. pre-calculations for cost calculations. * Manufacturing costings (impact analysis of proposed processes. * Lean Six Sigma projects - cost reduction activities. Return of Investments (ROI) calculations. REQUIREMENTS: * Degree / Masters or PhD in Industrial, Production, Manufacturing, Process Engineering (Minimum Level 8 on NFQ. * 3 years experience in High Volume Electronic Manufacturing with preference in the role of Industrial Engineer. Production layouts, cost improvement, timestudy work methods and simulation production line modelling would be a distinct advantage. * Computer Literate with computer programming knowledge in C, C , Visual Basic required. * Green or Black belt six sigma would be an advantage.
