Assistant Front Office Manager International Known 5* Hotel- Southern Ireland. We currently have an amazing opportunity for a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Front Office Manager with a passion to deliver excellent customer experiences and to join a highly professional and friendly team at 5* international owned hotel in Southern Ireland. We are looking for a self- motivated individual that will set the standard for guest experience in line with our hotel standards, an individual who is organized and passionate about the front of house service, with strong communication, leadership and management skills. This position would suit someone who has the ability to take control and responsibility for a smooth and efficient operation of the Front Office, ensuring consistently high standards of service are maintained while creating a work environment that supports organisational and brand values. Key responsibilities. Assist to manage Front Office operation, ensuring delivery guest service standards, that exceed the customers’ expectations. Ensure all team members receive regular training to update their skills and knowledge ensuring Brand Standards are met. To develop your team to anticipate guest needs, act upon and follow up guest requests and deliver a level of service and responsiveness that generates compliments. Ensure adequate resource planning and effective recruitment of Front Office team members. Assist to achieve budgeted profitability and occupancy of all Front Office departments. To make sure that all checks are carried out daily to ensure that no errors occur with guest reservations. Establish and maintain strict security procedures within Front Office. Ensure that all guest queries, concerns and complaints are dealt with promptly and to the satisfaction of the customer. To deliver this role your customer service skills will need to be second to none, have the ability to mix at all levels to ensure the smooth running of your team, and be able to offer full flexibility to this vital front of house role as part of the management team. Desired Qualifications/ Skills/Experience. Hospitality brand background is essential with at least 2 years at Front Office Supervisor or Assistant Front Office Manager level, with knowledge of corporate & leisure markets in a 4* or 5* Hotel. Operational experience in Reception, Reservations and Concierge. Knowledge of Opera PMS system would be an advantage. Must be standards driven and detail-orientated with the ability to organise and plan ahead. Must have the ability to lead, multi-task, and make sound decisions in fast-paced environment. Well presented with an outgoing personality, excellent interpersonal skills and good command of written & spoken English.
