This is an opportunity to join a manufacturing company who offer turnkey solutions to companies within the pharmaceutical, medical device, automotive and aviation industry as an Automation Project Manager. The key aspect of this role managing the Automation stage of machine builds. This involves working with the design team to develop process flow diagrams, functional design specifications and test plans. While this role does not involve hands-on programming, experience or knowledge of PLC Programme Development in Beckhoff and Allen-Bradley is important. Key Responsibilities: Develop process flow diagrams, functional design specifications and test plans for all automation projects. Develop and manage PLC Programming, HMI screen development, electrical panel builds, field wiring, system integration and final machine testing. Work with project designers, electricians and operators to ensure all standards are met. Organise and attend all relevant meetings regarding the project. Qualifications and Experience: 3rd Level Qualification in Electronics, Electrical or relevant engineering discipline. Experience in PLC Programme Development. Project Management experience desirable.
