Financial Controller Co Limerick Logistics Co. A successful well established and award winninglogistics company in County Limerick is looking for a Company Accountant / Financial Controller to lead its finance function and help take the organisation to the next level of its development. The role will be very much hands on in terms of the key decisions within the business, working closely with the company directors and other key advisors to consolidate and manage the current business activities while increasing profitability. The ideal candidate will preferably be a qualified accountant with prior experience of working in a commercial and or financial accounting role, be well organised with an attention to detail and an ability to use their own initiative to meet deadlines and organisational targets. Knowledge of Sage accounting, Thesaurus payroll and advanced Excel ability would help the successful candidate. Key Responsibilities: Preparation and completion of monthly management accounts and monthly reporting pack with analysis of performance. Cash Flow management and forecasting. Accounts Receivable management including the reconciliation of monthly debtors. Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register. Maintenance of Lease portfolio. Complete statutory returns for VAT / P30s etc. Participate in key business decisions in terms of reviewing job and or project profitability. Proactively drive continuous improvement initiatives.
